Laura has been a practicing Registered Massage Therapist since 2004, after successfully completing an intensive 2500 hour certification program. She works closely with other health care practitioners to provide an integrated approach to the health and well-being of her clients. She is a passionate person who focuses on her clients with careful attention, compassion and confidentiality. Methods of treatment include Deep Tissue, Sports Injury Rehabilitation, Trigger-point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Pregnancy Massage, Reflexology, Stress-Relief and Relaxation focused treatments.
“My goal as a therapist is to create a treatment specific to each client, based on their individual needs. I want to help people restore a sense of balance and good health, and improve the body’s ability to move and heal quickly.”
Laura’s experience over the years has broadened her knowledge in client rehabilitation following sports-related injuries, motor vehicle accidents and issues relating to stress management. From the time of her premature birth, Laura has experienced the healing power of touch. She attributes that power of touch to her fight to live and connect with those around her. To this day, the healing power of touch guides her work in the field of massage therapy, and its power for the mind, body and soul. Laura is enthusiastic about participating in many events such as Relay for Life, Ottawa Race Weekend, and various charities and outreaches.
